Hours of Work: Up to 25 hours weekly between M-TH 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

INTRODUCTION: Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will be forwarded to the hiring department for further review. Those who possess the strongest skills and experience will be invited by the Hiring Department for an interview.

Note: The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug screening and a background check.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working in a fleet maintenance facility safely and efficiently as well as possess a positive and team-oriented attitude.

GENERAL PURPOSE: This position will be staffed with Fleet Mechanics and Fleet Service workers to perform a wide variety of diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles /equipment. The candidate will be exposed to and learn many different skill sets.

ELIGIBILITY/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in an Automotive Program

Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)

Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

Available to work up to 25 hours weekly

A valid Nevada driver’s license

Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
