As Finance Systems & Operations Senior Analyst, you will be a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Finance Systems & Operations Analyst who will support the implementation of Business Central and continue as a long-term system and operations resource for the Finance department.
This role is ideal for someone who is smart, adaptable and comfortable working across both finance and technology.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in setup, configuration, and testing of Business Central modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Projects, etc.).
- Support data migration tasks: data cleansing, mapping, validation, and UAT testing.
- Help reconcile Salesforce-to-bank income streams and ensure data accuracy within BC.
- Document processes, SOPs, and workflows for Finance and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with the UK and global implementation teams to track deliverables and resolve system issues.
- Assist in creating financial reporting formats, dashboards, and templates within BC.
- Serve as a day-to-day Finance Systems Administrator for Business Central.
- Maintain configurations, user roles, approval workflows, and system controls.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate fixes with external consultants or the global ERP team.
- Provide BC training and ongoing support to Finance, HR, Fundraising, and Programs teams.
- Maintain data integrity across subledgers, integrations, and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, audit support, and financial reporting.
- Develop tools, trackers, and SOPs to improve operational efficiency across Finance.
- Assist with reconciliations, bank validations, revenue mapping, and posting corrections as needed.
- Support the Finance Director with project-based tasks involving financial operations and systems improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Programs, Fundraising, HR, Operations) to streamline business processes.
- Assist in internal control improvements, documentation updates, and audit trail management.
- Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems.
- Experience with Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or another ERP system (implementation or support exposure preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, lookups, pivots, reconciliations).
- Ability to document processes and communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance teams.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
- May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twelve (12) pounds and/or exert up to twelve (12) pounds of force.
