Fiber Optic Foreman
We’re seeking a Fiber Optic Foreman to lead our crew in Prescott AZ. The Foreman is responsible for supervising the installation, splicing, and maintenance of underground fiber optic networks. This hands-on leadership role demands technical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to train and lead teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•Lead underground fiber optic crews in blowing, pulling, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting
•Manage daily operations, including crew assignments, path planning, and equipment usage
•Operate and maintain heavy machinery such as backhoes, dozers, cable plows, trenchers, air compressors, and hydraulic reel trailers
•Train crews on safe, efficient installation techniques and equipment use
•Interpret construction plans and ensure projects meet specifications and safety standards
•Perform site inspections and address field issues with timely solutions
•Communicate with clients and internal teams, providing updates and resolving concerns
•Troubleshoot issues in the field and develop timely solutions
•Maintain accurate records of production, materials, and job progress
•Direct traffic in accordance with DOT guidelines and ensure a safe work environment for the crew
•All other duties assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
•5+ years of fiber optic installation experience,
•2+ years in a supervisory role.
•Strong understanding of telecom construction standards and utility installation practices.
•Effective team leader with a hands-on approach and a commitment to deadlines and quality
•The physical activity required for this role includes:
+ Site visits in a range of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
+ Walking on uneven and variable terrain
+ Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching
+ Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 75 pounds
•Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
