Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Annually

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Facility Painter to join our team. This role is heavily paint-focused, responsible for improving and maintaining the visual condition of company facilities through professional surface preparation and paint application. The position requires operation of both boom lifts and scissor lifts to safely reach elevated work areas. You will play a critical role in ensuring our facility appearance meets company standards and provides a clean, well-presented environment for employees and visitors.

- Perform interior and exterior painting projects with an emphasis on facility improvement and long-term surface protection.

- Complete full surface preparation including:

- Patching, sanding, scraping, caulking, cleaning, priming, and surface repairs prior to paint application.

- Apply paint using a variety of methods based on surface and finish requirements:

- Rolling for large wall and ceiling areas

- Brushing for trim, corners, and detailed work

- Spray application for smooth, even, high-quality coats

- Execute specialized paint techniques when required, such as:

- Touch-ups, stenciling, textured finishes, epoxy coatings, and color-matched repairs

- Safely operate elevated equipment for painting in high areas, including:

- Boom lifts

- Scissor lifts

- Ladders and platforms

- Maintain and organize paint inventory, equipment, tools, and PPE.

- Ensure adherence to all company safety guidelines, including proper PPE use and equipment inspections.

- Conduct pre-use safety checks on lift equipment and painting tools prior to each operation.

- Partner with maintenance and facility teams to support paint planning, 5S improvements, color standardization, and workspace organization.

- Respond to painting requests promptly and complete assigned projects efficiently.

- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor/manager.

- Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the supervisor/manager.

REQUIREMENTS

- 2+ years painting experience preferred, ideally in facility, industrial, or commercial environments.

- Must be able to safely use:

- Paint sprayers, rollers, brushes, sanding tools, basic hand tools, and surface repair materials

- Boom lift and scissor lift operation experience preferred.

- Ability to work at heights safely and comfortably.

- Strong ability to follow paint specifications, safety policies, and supervisor direction.

- Self-motivated team player capable of working independently with minimal oversight.

- Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

- Must demonstrate a safety-first mindset and comply with all training and certification requirements.

Physical & Functional Requirements

- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work at elevated heights using lift equipment

- Ability to operate lifts safely in shared workspace environments

- Excellent attention to finish quality, line detail, overspray control, and paint cleanliness
