We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is vital to our operations, contributing to the production of high-quality mining equipment and ensuring that we meet our customers' expectations through exceptional craftsmanship.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately.
- Cutting, bending, and shaping metal using tools such as plasma cutters, grinders, and presses.
- Inspecting welds and fabrications for defects, ensuring compliance with AWS standards and company specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts as required.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Other shop duties as required.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding techniques.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and mechanical knowledge.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in metalworking.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or construction is strongly preferred.
