Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Perform MIG, and stick welding on various materials.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Conduct assembly of components according to engineering drawings and ASME codes & standards.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials as needed on the construction site.
- Perform rigging tasks as required for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Construction site experience is preferred.
- Proficient in MIG welding, techniques.
- Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for precise fabrication.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements.
- Experience with plasma cutting and soldering techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of rigging practices and safety measures in a construction environment.
- Capable of operating forklifts safely within the worksite.
- Understanding of ductwork fabrication techniques is beneficial.
