Position: Event Sales Coordinator - Orange County

Shugarman’s Bath is expanding to Orange County, and we’re looking for a driven, enthusiastic, outgoing, and confident Event Sales Coordinator to help grow our presence in the area!This isn’t your average coordinator job—you’ll plan and run local events like home shows, fairs, and community events, connect with homeowners, book appointments, coach others to do the same, and help us grow. While you’ll be supported by our amazing Event Manager and proven methods, you'll have the opportunity to play a key role in building our brand in a new market. The heart of this role is selling the appointment—talking with homeowners, helping them understand the value of a free in-home consultation, and setting them up to meet with one of our expert Design Consultants for a tub or shower remodel.
Once you’ve mastered that, you’ll take on an exciting leadership role: coaching, training, cheering and managing our event team in Orange County so they can reach the same level of success.

What You’ll Do:
•Participate in establishing our Events team and strategy in Orange County, with the support of our San Diego leadership.
•Source, schedule, and build a calendar of home shows and community events across Orange County.
•Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and maintaining an event staff that work the events in order to sell the importance of appointment to prospective customers.
•Represent Shugarman’s Bath at events in Orange County by engaging with attendees, answering questions, promoting our bath remodeling services, and booking in-home design appointments.
•Overcome objections and clearly communicate the value of our remodeling solutions to prospective customers.
•Coach and train event staff on how to effectively book appointments and connect with attendees.
•Manage all logistics related to events—transportation, setup, teardown, and everything in between.
•Source and purchase branded materials that elevate our presence at shows and ensure a warming and professional look.
•Support the sales and marketing team in generating leads and building a strong sales pipeline to meet company goals.
•Review each event’s success, gather insights, and help improve our event strategies moving forward.
•Track budgets and performance, monitoring spending, lead counts, and resulting sales to ensure strong ROI for each event.
•Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, event attendees, and vendors.
•Ensure we have all marketing materials needed to have a successful event,
•Capture photo and video content during events to support social media and overall marketing efforts.
•Communicate with our contact center and sales team to make sure the quality of leads is up to par and ensure we are communicating the right message to the potential customers.
•Welcome walk-in customers at our Orange County showroom, help them with their needs, and book appointments.
•In a nutshell, make sure we are running multiple successful events every weekend and generating many many leads for our team to go book as many new jobs as possible!
What You Should Know:
•Office: Wednesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (varies based on event schedule)
•Events: Saturday and Sunday (varies based on event schedule)
•Employment Type: Full-Time - Exempt - Salary
•Bonus Opportunities: When working events, you’ll earn a bonus for each appointment you book that results in an in-home demonstration by our design consultant: $100 per appointment booked at non-industry events and $50 per appointment booked at industry events
•Potential Earnings: With bonuses, you could potentially make over $100,000 per year. It’s all in your hands.
•8 paid holidays per year.
•40hs sick time per year.

What You Must Have:
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Authorization to work in the country
•Must be available to work on weekends
•Must be ok working outdoors and indoors, such as office, fair grounds, home expos and various locations

Physical Requirements Required:
•Must be comfortable with tasks that involve computer usage
•Must be okay with being on your feet during prolonged periods
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. This could involve tasks such as moving event materials or assisting with physical event arrangements
