Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•Prepare event spaces, arrange furniture, stage, equipment, decorations, and other
items according to the event plan
•Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available, clean, presentable and
functional
•Work closely with other teams such as audio-visual, kitchen, service staff, client’s,
management, security, maintenance, hotel and business office to ensure correct and
timely setup
•Cleaning venue rooms and areas and performing post-event cleanup
•Assisting with event planning and coordination, and responding to guest requests
•Communicating with other staff members and clients
•Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to food, safety and
sanitation guidelines
•Assisting with inventory and restocking supplies as well as organizing inventory
and storage of events catalogue
•Perform basic maintenance tasks on event equipment as needed
•Ensure the setup is completed on time and to the required standard
•Adhere to health and safety regulations during setup and dismantling processes
•Assist in the dismantling and clearing of the event space post-event
•Store all equipment and materials properly after use
•Assist in typing reports, letters, estimates, manuals, and other business documents
•Answering telephone calls and emails and redirecting them to other employees
