Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and estimating, with a proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage project costs effectively. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while ensuring accurate and timely estimates for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the estimating process for construction projects, ensuring all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.

• Utilize Bluebeam and other software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates and project proposals.

• Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.

• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.

• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication.

• Review and analyze bid documents, plans, specifications, and other relevant information to prepare estimates.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the estimating team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Skills
