We are seeking an Estimating Manager to add to our estimating team in providing accurate and competitive construction estimates for our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process from start to finish, ensuring that all estimates are completed on time and within budget. This role is critical to the success of our business and requires strong project management skills, the ability to negotiate with clients, and expertise in construction estimating software.
- Manage and coordinate the estimation process for all projects, including gathering information from clients, conducting site visits, and reviewing and verifying project details.
- Develop and maintain accurate and competitive estimates for projects, using computer programs.
- Analyze and review project documents, including plans and specifications, to ensure that all aspects of the project are accurately estimated.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates align with project requirements and timelines.
- Negotiate with clients to finalize project estimates and ensure that they meet client expectations.
- Develop and manage project budgets and cost control measures to ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our estimating services.
- Manage and supervise a team of estimators, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in construction estimating and project management.
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret project documents, including plans and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working on construction sites and knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
