About the Role

At HSI Manufacturing, the Estimator - Project Manager in Manufacturing role is a dynamic blend of sales and estimation duties. You'll be the key to ensuring our customers receive accurate pricing tailored to their specific needs while showcasing the value of our exceptional services. Responsibilities
Sales Generation:
•Lead Generation: Reach out to potential and current customers through calls, emails, and online platforms to spark interest in HSI’s capabilities and services.
•Customer Engagement: Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide solution-driven support. Your consistent customer contact will support current business and help develop new opportunities.
Estimating Costs:
•Cost Estimation: Calculate costs based on customer requirements, including materials, labor, and other factors impacting the final price.
•Quotes: Prepare and present accurate quotes to customers, outlining pricing, delivery times, and other relevant details, promptly meeting or exceeding customer deadlines.
Product Knowledge:
•Technical Expertise: Understand the manufacturing process and read blueprints to determine accurate cost breakdowns and answer technical questions.
Collaborating with Sales and Operations:
•Coordination: Work closely with the sales team to ensure estimates align with client needs and sales goals. Collaborate with operations and production teams to verify availability, production times, and other details.
Account Management:
•Customer Support: Address inquiries about services, pricing, or timelines through email or phone.
•Customer Relationships: Establish regular communication with customers on re-orders, repricing, and new projects.
Closing Sales and Pushing New Opportunities:
•Sales Follow-Up: After providing the estimate, work with customers to address concerns, negotiate terms, and close the sale.
Qualifications
•Experience in manufacturing and/or metal fabrication industries.
•Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
•Technical expertise in metal goods manufacturing.
•Strong work ethic and dependability.
•Previous CRM, sales, and B2B selling experience preferred.
•Proven estimating and account management experience.
