Headquartered in Midlothian, Virginia and focused on the Southeast, we make an impact throughout the United States.

Role and Responsibilities

An Estimator is responsible for the cost calculations to determine how much it will cost a company to complete a project or provide products and services to our clients. This position focuses on estimating projects including the installation of: geotextile liners, underground detention systems and engineered product solutions such as HydroTurf and more. They do this by researching the costs of the materials, transport, labor, equipment, etc.

Duties and responsibilities

· Read plans to find bid opportunities and perform quantity take-offs.

· Work with potential clients and project managers to understand project specifics.

· Obtain quotes from suppliers and contractors within the specified timeframe.

· Preparing and submitting cost estimates for scope of work to be performed.

· Setting up, planning and disseminating information for the job so the project management and field team clearly understand the parameters and are able to perform to the specifications.

Skills and Experience

· Passion for the business, with a strong personal and professional interest in solving our clients’ problems.

· Highly responsive, a multitasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· The ability to work under pressure to meet and set goals, budgets, and deadlines.

· Exquisite math and IT ability with an analytical mindset

· Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, spreadsheets and estimating software.

· The ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.

· Strong understanding of the construction process.

· Attention to detail, team-oriented, drive to see work completed.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with underground detention or liner and containment installation.

· Experience of CRM’s such as Zoho and /or service platforms such as ServiceFusion.

· Engineering or construction experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
