Fenner Dunlop is seeking an ERP Generalist - Epicor
at our head office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

For over 150 years, Fenner Dunlop has researched, designed, developed, manufactured, and tested its conveyor belting products, supporting nearly any type of conveyor application, and providing the right solutions to protect conveyor system investments in the harshest conveying environments.• Maintain daily operations of the Epicor Kinetic ERP system to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and data security.
• Monitor system health and performance; identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions or improvements.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to manage system updates, backups, and security patches.
• Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, dashboards, reports, and other system settings.
• Ensure ERP data integrity through best practices in system configuration, performance tuning, and data management.
• Stay current with Epicor Kinetic updates, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users.
• Deliver timely troubleshooting and resolution to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
• Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Epicor Professional Services and third-party support when appropriate.
• Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate access provisioning and data security.
• Create and maintain user documentation; develop and deliver training for new system features, processes, and enhancements.
• Lead ERP-related projects including upgrades, integrations, and feature rollouts.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings with cross-functional teams including IT staff, end-users, and external consultants.
• Document and track project progress, including meeting minutes, risk assessments, and testing outcomes.
• Oversee system testing, validation, and user training related to changes and upgrades to ensure smooth implementation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for system enhancements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements for development and configuration.
• Partner with IT and database administrators to ensure system integration, performance, and scalability.
• Act as a subject matter expert during cross-functional initiatives, providing insight into ERP capabilities and limitations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and problem-solving.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of users, both verbally and in writing.
• Build strong working relationships with departments across the organization to support business needs and foster user adoption.
• Demonstrate a proactive and empathetic approach to end-user support, consistently aiming to improve user satisfaction.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, as required.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule as needed to support project deadlines or system needs.
• Exhibit professional behavior at all times, particularly when representing the company on customer or distributor sites.
• Adhere to and promote company safety policies and procedures to support a strong internal safety culture.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Epicor Kinetic ERP (or equivalent versions).
• Proven project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of ERP initiatives.
• Ability to develop clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials for end-users.
• Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans and managing end-to-end testing processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Epicor Security Manager, including user role and permission management.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes within the Epicor environment.
• Experience with Product Configurators for rules-based product setup and automation.
Familiarity with configuring Customer Groups and Price Lists to support customized pricing models.
• Working knowledge of General Ledger Posting Rules and their impact on financial transactions.
• Experience with the Epicor Quick Ship module for managing shipping and logistics integrations.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries that support Business Activity Queries (BAQs) and reporting needs.
• Understanding of Compiled Dashboards and use of Smart Filters for interactive data visualization.
• Experience creating and executing DMT (Data Management Tool) templates for data imports, updates, and migrations.
• Familiarity with Epicor Data Conversion Utilities used in upgrades and system transitions.
• Proficient in managing the System Agent and configuring Process Sets to automate scheduled tasks.
