Job Description:
The Engineering Technician is essential in developing and optimizing our production lines, working closely with SQA and Quality engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently. You’ll provide technical support to the production team, quality dispositioning, RTV and NCM control as well as ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with Supplier Quality Teams to ensure all materials and components meet our high-quality standards, directly impacting product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Essential
Duties:
•Collaborate with Engineers in the planning, design, and execution of quality engineering projects to support the Assembly Team.
•Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure process engineering designs meet company standards.
•Facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering teams and the Assembly Team to align on project objectives and strategies.
•Provide quality and calibration assistance to the Assembly Team during the implementation of process engineering systems.
•Support Supplier Quality Teams by evaluating and monitoring supplier performance to meet quality expectations.
•Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and increase efficiency.
•Assist in training Assembly Team members on new processes, equipment, and procedures to ensure proper implementation.
•Perform all duties assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Required:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
Required:
Experience:
•0-5 years of process Engineering related experience.
Preferred:
•Honorably discharged service veterans.
•Previous supervisory and leadership experience.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
•Understands engineering fundamentals, able to perform or follow Engineering designs and procedures to ensure correct implementation.
•Ability to stay on task and work under stress in high pressure situations.
•Possesses excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail both verbally and written.
•Has strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
•Ability to handle frequent interruptions and handle conflict in an effective manner.
•Ability and willingness to learn new processes and business functions to facilitate the mission.
•Possesses a positive and energetic self-starter attitude, with excellent drive, ambition, and work ethic.
•Possesses the ability to be a team player.
•Has a good attention to detail and possesses a high degree of accuracy in their work.
