Position Overview

This leadership role is ideal for a Professional Engineer (PE) or an Engineer-in-Training (EI/EIT) with substantial experience in metal fabrication and a passion for mentoring and managing high-performing engineering teams. The Engineering Supervisor will oversee technical operations, ensure compliance with design standards, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. A key part of this role includes reviewing existing products and developing new solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce production costs.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and supervise the engineering team in daily operations and long-term planning.

· Oversee project design, review, and approval processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Collaborate with fabrication, project management, and quality control teams.

· Drive continuous improvement in engineering workflows and documentation.

· Mentor project designers and support professional development within the team.

· Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or related industry.

· Proven leadership and organizational skills.

· Strong goal-driven mindset with the ability to motivate and guide teams.

· Bachelor's degree in engineering

Preferred Qualifications

· PE license or EI/EIT with 5+ years of experience under a licensed PE.

· Experience managing engineering teams in a fabrication or construction environment.

· Familiarity with CAD modeling and structural design software.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
