ENGINEERING DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

Responsibilities and Duties:
•Provide administrative and technical services to assist the Engineering Department.
•Management of all Engineering documentation and document flow.
•Maintain complete confidentiality within the office structure pertaining to any company and customer business.
•Maintain up-to-date project documentation in hard copy and electronically.
•Produce transmittals for shop issue packages as required to meet production demands.
•Access shared and customer sites to retrieve and upload documents as necessary to support projects.
•Assist in the creation and compilation of product and quality manuals.
•Assist the Sales Department with proposals, job folders, sales meetings and general control of sales documents.
•Assist the Project Planner with the creation, maintenance and monitoring of the project schedules using MS Project.
•Assist the Project Planner in the scheduling meetings at various points in the project.
•Track required documentation of project through schedules to ensure deliverables are not missed.
•Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
•Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field of study and/or minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.
•Demonstrated exceptional organization and time management skills.
•Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
•Fundamental knowledge of mechanical design would be an asset.
•Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office.
•Working experience in SolidWorks would be considered an asset.
•Able to handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
