About This Job

The Documents Controls position is responsible for the management, distribution, and organization of controlled documents. This role ensures that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and security of information throughout the document lifecycle.

CCI Industrial Services provides quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies in Alaska and the lower 48 states. Be a Safety Leader! Ensure the resources and commitment to HSE is of top priority for all employees within the company.
Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
Maintain compliance with the required HSE Training.
Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
Promote and participate in Safety Programs.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Receive, review, and accurately log incoming and outgoing documents.
Maintain the document control system (electronic and hard copy) ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Ensure proper document classification, sorting, filing, and archiving.
Issue and track controlled documents for review and approval.
Coordinate document revisions, ensuring version control and proper distribution.
Support audits and inspections by providing requested documentation.
Liaise with project teams, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure timely document flow.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.


Requirements:


Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license
NSTC card
1+ years of experience in document control or administrative support.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in oil and gas industries.
Familiarity with technical documentation, engineering drawings, and regulatory filing systems.
Experience working in remote or high-security environments (e.g., North Slope, government facilities).

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Mobility

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses computers on a daily basis. He/she is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. May require light physical effort such as stooping, bending, reaching and occasional lifting of lightweight objects (up to 25 pounds).

HEARING: The employee frequently is required to talk or hear while answering phones, working with customers, clients, supervisors, etc.
VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner. Ability to see and complete work on a personal computer and read color coded writing on equipment forms, etc.
