Shift: | Onsite | Midtown EastThe TECO Peoples Gas Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. The program is an extension of the educational process, providing practical experience to complement formal classroom work. The co-op program recruits students from colleges to give them an opportunity to work in a professional environment related to their field of study.
Accountabilities: As a successful candidate for our Co-op or Internship, you would:
- Collects and quality controls data from a variety of internal and external sources, updates existing models and databases
- Performs analyses, improves existing models, and develops new models for a variety of projects.
- Generates reports and develops processes to standardize and/or automate reports of business data
- Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Use strong analytical, attention to detail and organizational skills
Education/Certification/GPA: The successful applicant should be in their second, third or fourth year of an ABET accredited university or college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline. A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required. To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university’s co-op program is a must.

The successful applicant maybe required to take and pass a Baseline Medical Examination as part of the pre-employment screening once an offer has been accepted.
