Summary
As an Engineer at Oncor you will play a vital role in the planning, design, maintenance, and enhancement of our transmission and distribution systems. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to the stability and sustainability of the electrical grid. Current projects within the company include: system protection architecture and design, system capacity upgrades, substation and transmission line design, system impact / performance studies, system automation technology applications, new microprocessor equipment applications, automated metering systems, material & equipment specification review, and emerging technology projects. Responsibilities include performing technical system studies, developing and preparing recommendations, assisting field personnel in solving operational issues and communicating action plans to appropriate personnel and entities.

+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required. + Applicants that are Engineers In Training with the ability to become registered PE in Texas are encouraged to apply. + Applicants with 4 years of applicable electric utility experience are encouraged to apply. + Ability to work as an individual contributor, team member or team leader.
