Electrical Technician

Position: Electrical Shop Manager / Electrical Technician

EES Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Shop Manager / Electrical Technician to oversee shop operations and perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, assemble, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and components

· Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

· Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools to ensure safety and performance

· Manage shop inventory, procurement, and safety compliance

· Perform inspections and verify adherence to electrical codes and standards

· Support fabrication of pumping skids, heat trace systems, and related equipment

· Assist with light mechanical work

· Maintain accurate service and maintenance documentation

· PLC programming experience is a plus

Qualifications

· Strong electrical and diagnostic skills with hand and power tools

· Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (NEC)

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

· Effective communicator and team collaborator

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems preferred

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Relevant electrical and shop management experience preferred

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

· Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic; occasional international)

· Background check and drug screening required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
