Electrical Projects Supervisor

Prysmian’s McKinney location is looking for an Electrical Projects Supervisor. Reporting into the Electrical Project Manager, the electrical projects supervisor will possess strong leadership skills to lead a crew of experienced electricians. The electrical projects manager will value safety above all else. In this role you will prioritize, schedule, and logistically support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Lastly, the electrical projects supervisor will collaborate with the existing team to facilitate electrical design, construction, and maintenance efforts.

Additional key responsibilities:

- Supervise and schedule a crew of hourly electricians to support industrial projects within an operating fast-paced manufacturing facility.

- Verify take-offs and define material lists.

- Be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

- Collaborate and with other team members within the facility.

- Report directly to the Electrical Projects Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Electrical Journeymen or higher.

- 10+ years of experience in the electrical trade, specifically commercial and light industrial.

- High school diploma or GED.

- Electrical construction background

- Knowledge of NEC code.

- Knowledge of OSHA requirements, specifically 29 CFR 1910.302 – 335.

- Organizational and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Trade school graduate.

- Knowledge of CMMS systems.

- Has basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, building systems, utilities, and repair procedures relating to construction and industrial settings.

- Has experience reviewing specifications and developing mechanical or electrical layouts.

- Good computing and software skills including Microsoft Office.
