The Bulk Delivery Driver (DEF) is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to commercial customers, including fleet yards, truck stops, agricultural sites, and industrial facilities. This role requires operating bulk delivery trucks, maintaining accurate delivery records, upholding safety and environmental standards, and providing excellent customer service at each delivery location. - Safely operate bulk delivery trucks to transport and dispense DEF to customer tanks or equipment.
- Load and unload product in compliance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
- Verify delivery instructions, routes, and volumes before each trip.
- Accurately measure and record delivered quantities using meters or gauges.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of delivery equipment, hoses, and pumps.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards for handling and transporting DEF.
- Conduct pre-trips, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Report any safety concerns, mechanical issues, or spills immediately.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to spill-prevention procedures.
- Provide professional, courteous service during each delivery.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding ETAs, delivery status, or site issues.
- Assist customers in understanding proper DEF storage and handling guidelines.
- Complete electronic or paper delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports accurately.
- Maintain driving logs in accordance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Submit paperwork, receipts, and inventory reports promptly.

- Valid CDL (Class B or Class A), with tanker endorsement if required by company/state.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol testing.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and handle hoses, meters, and delivery equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Experience delivering bulk liquids, fuel, or DEF.
- Familiarity with handheld delivery systems, meters, or electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment.
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Regular local or regional driving; overtime or early/late shifts may be required.
- Exposure to chemical handling (non-hazardous but requires proper procedures).
- Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and safely operate heavy hoses and pumps.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
