The Draftsman is responsible for being an organized, service and detail orientated individual responsible for creating and updating technical drawings using company tools. Position communicate and collaborate with engineer and other designated team members to ensure drawings meet project specifications.
- As assigned, create and update technical drawings for operations and customers based on the recommendations, given specifications and calculations.
- Update Customer files with appropriate information/updates as per company policy.
- Communicate with operations and management to ensure work meets project requirements.
- Conduct all internal and external communication in a highly customer service-oriented manner.
- Accountable for maintaining status of projects and appropriate individuals with this information.
- Work with members of a team to effectively complete work assignment.
- Receive information from team members and/or leadership regarding customer needs and product requirements and utilize this information to effectively complete drawings.
- All work and decisions shall be conducted in strict compliance of all regulatory law.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Experience with engineering software, traditional drafting methods, strong math skills and attention to detail are required skills
- Able to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proven organization and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Dependable and Customer Service (Internal and External) focused.
- Observe all safety rules and best practices; Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Work may require flexible hours, weekends, holidays and night work to coordinate and/or communicate updates on projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Diploma from an accredited trade school or university and 2 years’ experience in related mechanical and or electrical field.
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
- Able to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
- Dependable and Customer Service (Internal and External) focused.
- Knowledge of various safety standards such as OSHA and any state safety standards.
- Proven mechanical skills and/or experience with different types of low and high voltage equipment.
- Able to effectively solve problems.
- Basic computer skills for data entry, looking up information, and/or creating reports.
- Able to communicate oral and written communication skills; follow directions-written direction, oral direction, reading work orders and/or specs as assigned; work in a team environment and communicate with team, various departments, and/or Customers as business needs dictate.

Compensation: Pay is$25 per hour and eligible for overtime.
