Your Role: Drafter II
What You’ll Do
Performs detailed or complex drafting assignments related to electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for substation applications.
Follows established technical specifications to prepare drawings and assists in design drafting. Interprets redline revisions and implements detailed corrections.
Organizes, prioritizes, and works on multiple projects.
Consults with Drafting Lead regarding drawing accuracy and drafting standards.
Prepares finished working drawings for construction projects from detailed design by designers and engineers with moderate oversight.
Expectations
- Moderate guidance and training needed, understanding of project requirements assigned is developed. Drafter II acceptable standards of excellence (accuracy, work ethics, presentation/standards, speed).
- Ensure package is complete/accurate with moderate guidance.
- Consults with engineers regarding accuracy and design. Meets deadlines.
- Accepts multi-disciplined work and training in other programs.
What You Bring
🎓
Education: High School Diploma or GED Required. Technical Degree or Equivalent in Drafting and Design, Industrial Technology Degree with emphasis on drafting and design preferred.
📊
Experience : 1+ years of experience and/or 1 year of training in drafting technical drawings using CAD
💡
Skills: Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Bentley Microservices experience preferred
