Job Title: Draftsman

Job Description: Travis Pattern & Foundry is currently seeking a self-motivated Draftsman. The candidate will be responsible for Solid model and drawing creation in the design process to be submitted for fabrication of castings and tooling.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

- Create drawings in and designs for production and manufacturing

- Create solid models from reverse engineering and blueprints

- Create solid model assemblies for tooling and manufacturing equipment

- Work alongside tool and die makers to create and modify tooling

- Design parts and blueprints for machining

- Operate 3D printer for prototypes and patterns

- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred skills

- Strong working knowledge of PC computer (Word/Excel/Outlook)

- Experience with solid modeling software, SolidWorks

- Attention to detail

- Time management skills

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Education and Experience

- In process or completed A.A.S. in Drafting or other related degree or certificate from a community college or technical school

- Foundational knowledge of CAD and SolidWorks software

- Foundational knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, and physics

- Technical design skills

Hourly Wage Range: $22 - $29/hr DOE*

Schedule: M – F 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Position Classification: Hourly, non-exempt

Location: North Spokane site location (NO remote work, option)

- Wages are DOE, subject to a variety of factors including but not limited to: Prior relevant experience, education, and/or certifications in specific areas of skilled study.

Job is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen within 24-hours of acceptance. Pre-employment and random drug screening does not include marijuana.
