Dispatcher

Job Summary:

Bjorklund Companies is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the transportation of materials. Your strong communication skills with customers and drivers will contribute to the smooth flow of operations.

Responsibilities:

- Dispatch drivers and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation of materials.

- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on delivery status

- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation, ensuring customer satisfaction

- Maintain open lines of communication with drivers, providing support and guidance as needed

-Answer phones and give out material quotes

-Be able to roll up your sleeves to handle anything that needs to be done on a daily basis

Requirements:

- Experience as a Dispatcher required

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
