Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and highly organized individual to serve as a Dispatcher / Assistant Project Manager. This position plays a key role in coordinating daily field operations while supporting the broader needs of project management. The ideal candidate will be capable of maintaining efficient scheduling, facilitating communication across departments, and addressing operational challenges in real time.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Coordinate and assign daily schedules for drivers, field crews, and service teams.
•Manage scheduling around employee vacations and time-off requests in collaboration with leadership.
•Serve as a liaison between customers, field staff, and internal teams to ensure operational clarity and alignment.
•Monitor equipment, vehicle locations, and job progress through tracking systems.
•Respond promptly to scheduling conflicts, equipment failures, and unforeseen delays.
•Maintain accurate dispatch logs, job reports, and supporting documentation.
•Assist project managers in tracking budgets, expenses, and the allocation of resources.
•Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
•Communicate clearly with clients to provide updates and resolve issues as needed.
•Support the coordination of materials, supplier communications, and subcontractor activities.
•Facilitate responses to urgent field issues such as breakdowns or accidents.
•Provide training and guidance to team members on dispatch and operational procedures.
•Attend and help facilitate meetings; take detailed notes and ensure follow-up on action items.
•Contribute to project closeout by verifying completed work and assisting in final reporting.
