Position Summary
The Dispatch Coordinator supports the dispatch team by overseeing our field technicians and monitoring their routes to ensure profitability while still meeting customer needs. In this position, you will update work order notes, process completed work orders from the previous day, maintain communication between multiple departments, and assist with re-routing technicians as needed.
Please note that this is not a logistics or scheduling position. This position leans more towards administrative work by processing paperwork and assisting with day to day operations
Job Duties
Primary Responsibilities
•Check in and process data entry for work orders completed the previous day.
•Prepare completed jobs with all required information, backup, and attachments for billing.
•Maintain communication with our field technicians throughout the day and update job notes.
•Assist our field technicians with access, property information, or general questions.
•Manage pre-scheduled jobs to ensure we are meeting ETA’s, budgets, and customer satisfaction.
•Update account representatives and/or property managers in a timely manner, when scheduling changes or additional approval is required to complete a job.
•Update account representatives and management when jobs are completed, or issues occur.
•Collaborate with management to reroute technicians as needed to accommodate customer needs.
Other General office tasks:
•Create work orders based on customer inquiries or technician writeups
•Update customer profiles with current contact information, access codes, and special scheduling notes
•File lighting maintenance work orders.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Able to demonstrate discretion of confidential customer and corporate information.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Proficient with Microsoft Office and Databases.
•Experience with managing service fleets.
•Knowledge of local road and freeway system.
•Ability to work in a team in a high-pressure environment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Experience
•Experience in office environments and all listed responsibilities.
•Experience in contracting company environment preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
