Position Details:
Service Dispatcher's primary role is to process customer requests with the highest level of customer care and service, provide internal support to the service team, and oversee the daily schedule of the service department technicians, scheduling and dispatching each call, prioritizing logistics, skill level, and availability.
Responsibilities Include:
•Answer incoming calls and assist clients with scheduling appointments and all other inquiries.
•Accurate, dependable, and consistent data entry.
•Oversee the coordination of the service technician's daily routes. Assigning appointments by priority, logistics, skill level and availability. Reassigning appointments as needed throughout the day.
•Debrief service technicians after each call and ensure any needed follow-up is coordinated in a timely fashion.
•Assist technicians as needed to obtain partsmaterials.
•Maintain the maintenance plan database and contact all plan customers to schedule their maintenance services.
•Conduct post-appointment quality assurance calls.
•Swiftly and professionally resolve client or technicians' concerns. Escalate as needed.
•Assist the Service Manager with administrative duties as needed.
•Participate in the after-hours on-call dispatching rotation.
•Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
•Minimum three years working experience in high level customer service applications; Expert customer service skills.
•Able to learn software applications and use them with proficiency, accuracy, and confidence.
•Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google programs.
•Able to work with a team to achieve departmental goals while simultaneously performing own duties independently with little to no supervision.
•Superior organizational, time management, and communication skills.
•Able to stay calm and flexible in stressful or fluid working situations.
•Capable of making sound decisions based on logic and reasoning.
•Geographical knowledge of our servicing area or ability to read maps.
•High energy personality and leadership qualities.
•Must be reliable, honest, and cooperative; Expected to be discrete when handling sensitive/confidential information.
•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
