Overview:
The Director of Utility Storm Contracts will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the company's market presence in the transmission restoration sector. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets. This position is expected to work from the office, if currently residing in or around the Tulsa, Ok metro region as well as the field, as required, to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
•Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the transmission restoration industry.
•Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners to foster collaboration and secure new projects.
•Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and bids for transmission restoration projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
•Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
•Collaboration: Work closely with project management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
•Networking: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and identify potential clients.
•Reporting: Monitor and report on business development activities, sales forecasts, and market trends to senior management.
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent related experience.
•Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the construction or energy sector, preferably in transmission.
•Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
