Job Summary
The Bids & Contracts Director will lead the strategic vision, execution, and continuous improvement of Vivacity Tech’s bidding and purchasing contract functions. This role oversees all federal, state, and cooperative contracting efforts that drive revenue growth and customer acquisition across public sector markets. As a senior leader, this person will work cross-functionally with sales, legal, product, and executive leadership to position Vivacity for success in competitive bid environments and ensure contract compliance and performance at scale.
The Director will lead and develop a high-performing team, own our national bids and contracts strategy, and serve as a thought partner in shaping go-to-market tactics that strengthen our public sector presence.
This position is in Greenville, SC. You must be located in the Greenville, SC area. This position is NOT remote.

•Build and lead a high-performing bids and contracts team aligned to company goals
•Set departmental vision, OKRs, and processes to drive efficiency and win rates
•Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development for team members
•Partner with People + Culture on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational design
•Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports and summaries to internal and external partners, supporting transparency and informed decision-making
•Analyze bid and proposal requirements to identify customer needs, priorities, and success criteria; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure tailored and competitive responses
•Develop and present compelling written and visual content that effectively communicates Vivacity’s value proposition, capabilities, and differentiators in proposals and presentations
•Own and evolve the end-to-end bids and purchasing contract strategy across all regions and public sector verticals
•Evaluate and prioritize bid and contract opportunities based on alignment with company goals and competitive position
•Define and maintain scalable processes, templates, and systems to support high-volume bid responses and ongoing compliance
•Collaborate with executive leaders to evaluate partnership opportunities, RFP trends, and contract expansion strategy
•Lead pricing strategy, compliance checks, and risk evaluation for all submitted bids and contract documentation
•Serve as internal subject matter expert and escalation point for all bid and contract-related issues
•Oversee accuracy, competitiveness, and positioning of bid content in alignment with brand voice and strategic objectives
•Track and report on bid success metrics, contract performance, and utilization to inform business decisions
•Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure bid readiness and execution
•Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders
•Train and support internal teams in understanding contract mechanisms, obligations, and opportunities
•Communicate clearly and regularly with internal stakeholders regarding bid strategy, contract commitments, and timelines

Education & Experience
•5+ years of experience in bids, contracts, public sector sales operations, or related functions, including 2+ years in a leadership role
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field preferred
•Experience leading complex public sector bids or managing cooperative contracts required
