The Director of Operational Transformation & Intelligent Automation will lead Percheron’s enterprise-wide modernization of data, processes, and automation to support rapid, scalable growth. This role is accountable for building the infrastructure, workflows, and intelligent systems that enable the company to double in size without proportional increases in cost or complexity. This leader will turn data into a strategic asset, operational design into a competitive advantage, and automation into a force multiplier for human capability. The role blends strategy, execution, and change leadership, and is critical to preparing the organization for investment and long-term growth.
Essential Tasks And Responsibilities Enterprise Data Strategy & Infrastructure (Data Backbone)
- Own and evolve Percheron’s end-to-end data architecture, including data capture, validation, integration, and accessibility.
- Design and oversee scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality standards.
- Eliminate data silos by standardizing data definitions and establishing “enter once, use everywhere” practices.
- Treat data as a product with clear ownership, SLAs, and measurable outcomes.
- Establish and govern company-wide data quality metrics and reporting.
- Lead the design, documentation, measurement, and continuous improvement of cross-functional workflows.
- Standardize high-impact business processes for speed, quality, and scalability.
- Redesign workflows around outcomes rather than historical precedent.
- Build repeatable documentation frameworks that support training, scale, and automation.
- Embed a continuous improvement culture empowering employees to identify and implement better ways of working.
- Lead the strategy for intelligent automation, including RPA, workflow orchestration, and AI-enabled agents.
- Identify and deliver “quick wins” that create visible value.
- Responsibly design and scale systems that replicate decision-driven workflows, not just tasks.
- Drive “agentic” process redesigns where automation performs the majority of work and humans intervene at critical decision points.
- Establish governance, monitoring, and performance measurement for deployed automation.
- Build and scale a high-performing operational transformation team, including hiring, development, and performance management.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability across data, process, and automation initiatives.
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team through regular strategic reviews and planning sessions.
- Act as a change leader across the organization to drive adoption, trust, and engagement.
- Define and track enterprise operational metrics including: Revenue per employee, cost per project, data quality and reliability scores, automation impact (hours saved, error rates, cycle time reductions), and employee engagement related to operational excellence,
- Translate initiatives into measurable ROI and enterprise value creation.

- 8 to 12 years of experience in operations transformation, digital transformation, data platforms, consulting, or other related fields.
- Proven experience designing and scaling data infrastructure and operational workflows with multiple departments.
- Hands on experience with automation, RPA, workflow tools, and/or AI enabled systems.
- Strong understanding of change management and cross functional leadership.
- Experience working in high growth, private equity backed, or transformation-oriented environments preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with intelligent automation technologies and platforms (e.g. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, IDP), workflow or BPM orchestration, and analytics.
- Highly strategic with strong execution discipline, must be comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure from complexity.
- Credible with both technical and business stakeholders must be data-driven outcome focused and culturally grounded in continuous improvement.
- Ability to establish automation governance and operating models with clear KPIs and familiar with data engineering or ETL pipelines and data product management practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
- Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and working overtime if warranted).
- Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
