The Director of IT & Infrastructure will play a pivotal role in evaluating and managing AP4 Groups’ infrastructure needs to meet the business growth strategy to include overseeing the design and application of information systems and ensuring operational efficiency within the organization. This role requires a strong leader, adept at facilitating cross-functional collaboration and implementing processes, tools, and system improvements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies that support the organization's operational and business objectives.
- Manage and lead the IT infrastructure team, including partnerships with suppliers responsible for building and maintaining the company's technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems, servers, storage solutions, and cloud services.
- Implement IT security measures to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and monitoring IT spending.
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Work closely with other departments to identify technological needs and provide appropriate solutions that align with business goals.
- Develop and implement technology policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption or improvement.
- Provides technical guidance and support to staff and clients on issues related to infrastructure.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training management and other employees.??
- Provide leadership with consistent coaching and feedback.
- Conduct 1 on 1 meetings with direct reports as applicable.
- Develop goals and provide training for employees.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Travel as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Project & Process mapping & management.
- Strong foundation in business fundamentals, strategic thinking, and data analysis.
- Change management and organizational transformation experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience required, including team building and talent development.
