RGC Resources Inc., publicly traded on Nasdaq (RGCO) andparent of Roanoke Gas Company, is seeking candidates for the position of IT Director. This position will lead and supervise the Company’s IT function.
- Cybersecurity – maintain a cybersecurity security framework that adapts to new threats and changes in systems and operating environment.
- Departmental Administration – manage IT staff, operating and maintenance budgets, and capital budgets specific to IT and technology infrastructure.
- Third-Party Services – manage third-party services and contracts including internet connectivity, network support, application support, and cloud/SaaS providers.
- Compliance – develop and maintain policies and procedures in support of all business and IT operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network design, operation and security protocols
- Experience with internet connectivity, mobile device management, data management and backup
- Knowledge of and experience with AI implementation, at a company level
- Successful track record of managing IT teams and processes, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to effectively communicate IT security and IT concepts to executive management as well as the wider organization in an understandable manner
- Ability to plan and manage complex, multistage projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Education / Work Experience / Professional Licenses (Minimum)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, networking, or a related discipline
- Experience managing a network environment that includes an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
- Experience with managing vendor relationships including cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS)
