Role Summary

Our Client is seeking a VP of IT Infrastructure to lead the planning, development, and maintenance of reliable infrastructure and applications to support current operations and future growth. Operating at a strategic level, this role is crucial for driving technological advancements within the organisation.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the operation and maintenance of computer networks, workstations, servers, and storage systems.

- Lead the planning and management of data centers, including disaster recovery environments.

- Prioritize and delegate tasks to IT infrastructure personnel.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and conduct regular system backups.

- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and proactive maintenance.

- Collaborate with Information Security to ensure infrastructure security and regulatory compliance.

- Manage technology vendor contracts and vendor relationships.

- Develop and implement technical standards and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or computer information systems; Master's Degree preferred.

- 10+ years of technology experience with 5+ years in IT management.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure and M365.

- Strong knowledge of database administration, Windows/Linux Servers, and Cisco routers.

- Ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively with other departments.

- Strong commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Desirable Skills & Experience

- Additional technical certifications are preferred.

- Familiarity with hybrid and cloud systems architecture.

- Experience with implementing emerging technologies for scalability and cost efficiency.
