Position Overview
Global is transforming from a top-tier contractor into an enterprise-class platform company, building repeatable and scalable operational excellence across every function. At the heart of that transformation is the Business Systems team—driving user productivity, embedding process compliance through smart workflows and automation, and delivering world-class outcomes for our customers.
Reporting to the CIO, the Director of Business Systems is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role. You’ll guide cross-functional teams—both internal and external—in designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native technologies with AI built in from the start. Our modern stack includes Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, Azure, Power BI, CoPilot, and other emerging AI tools.
This is a working manager position: you’ll provide technical and operational leadership to a growing team of business analysts and project managers, while also directly owning the roadmap and execution for several business functions during the initial buildout phase.
In Your First 12 Months, You Will:
•Lead the design and rollout of a formal project governance and phase-gate process
•Deliver high-impact automations, applications, and dashboards to increase efficiency across multiple functions
•Build a trusted partnership model with internal stakeholders and offshore development teams
•Take ownership of integration and alignment of acquired companies into our systems
•Begin building a high-performance IS team around you
What You’ll Own
Strategic Leadership & Tech Alignment
•Serve as Business Systems lead for 1–2 functional areas (e.g., Finance, HR, Ops)
•Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for process automation and data intelligence
•Anticipate org needs and workforce evolution with scalable tech solutions
•Drive architectural and DevOps alignment across all initiatives
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
•Mentor and grow a team of analysts and PMs over FY26
•Serve as a trusted advisor in software selection and adoption
•Champion partnership with offshore engineering teams (e.g., Kenya-based)
Project Portfolio & Governance
•Lead intake, prioritization, and execution of all business systems projects
•Own and evolve the master dashboard of deliverables and KPIs
•Negotiate and manage third-party vendors and contracts
Automation & Process Excellence
•Deliver intelligent automation using Power Platform, CoPilot, and Fabric
•Embed data governance and accuracy into all system workflows
•Optimize repeatable processes for scalability and measurable ROI
What We’re Looking For
•12+ years in Information Systems or Business Analysis, with 5+ years in a leadership role
•Strong experience supporting Finance, Payroll, HR, Accounting, and/or Ops platforms
•Track record delivering cross-functional tech projects with internal and offshore teams
•Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Power BI, and Fabric
•Deep understanding of project governance, stakeholder management, and process design
•Experience managing IS budget planning and Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB)
Preferred
•Experience integrating acquired companies into core business systems
•Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy frameworks
•Background in construction, field services, or project-based industries
•Degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline

Work Schedule & Travel
•This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Phoenix HQ
•1–3 early morning or evening virtual meetings weekly with our Kenya-based team
•Occasional travel to acquisition or satellite sites in the U.S.; potential annual travel to Kenya
