DevOps Engineer 1

Position Overview

The DevOps Engineer I will specialize in the creation, testing, and implementation of Azure supporting infrastructure at Trimark. They are the technical professional responsible for the planning, design, management, maintenance, and support of cloud computing applications. They determine the company’s technological needs and suggest solutions that meet them. They collaborate with the development team and other personnel to streamline application services.

Essential Functions

- Work closely with Trimark Development teams to create/manage/maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.

- Support the design, execution, rollout and evangelism of the cloud operating model.

- Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.

- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure documentation.

- Develop installation and monitoring tools for support and operations.

- Perform audit checks for security, process and resource compliance.

- Contribute to training and customer support activities as needed.

- Repair and recover from hardware, software and process failures.

- Provide backup and recovery support and guidance for cloud resources.

- Communicate fluently with business stakeholders, product managers, researchers, and developers.

Candidate Qualifications

- BS in computer engineering, computer science, engineering or information systems or equivalent experience.

- Strong network design experience, including knowledge of VLANs, routing, firewalls.

- Strong computing and scripting skills.

- Able to work in an environment using Microsoft Azure.

- Familiar with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
