Delivery Driver

Position: Propane Delivery Driver

Location: Lantana, Florida or Lauderhill, Florida

What you’ll be working on…

- You will be operating truck and delivery equipment safely to deliver propane gas.

- You will perform pre trip and post trip safety inspections of vehicle and equipment.

- You will document findings of inspections and ensure appropriate action is taken in regards to any exceptions.

- You will prepare and maintain all appropriate documentation required of drivers by the Department of Transportation.

- You will observe all traffic rules and practice defensive driving techniques.

- You will observe all company, industry, and regulatory guidelines regarding the safe operation of equipment and the delivery of propane gas.

- You will record deliveries, meter readings and tank percentages accurately.

- You will check credit status of customers prior to making deliveries when on call

- You will collect payments from customers and disconnect gas service as directed.

- You will be sensitive to customers' situations and provide helpful assistance to resolve problems.

- You will perform other related duties as assigned.

Who you are...

- You possess an active CDL class B.

- You possess a Hazmat endorsement.

- You have a keen sense of smell.

- You love working with customers and have great communication skills.

- You are able to maintain truck in a safe and clean manner

- You are comfortable with the below hazards and working conditions:

- HAZARDS: Exposure to various substances which could be hazardous if handled improperly.

- WORKING CONDITIONS: Assigned tasks are normally performed in field surroundings with exposure to all types of weather conditions.
