Deck Support Technician

(including but not limited to)

· Assist in maintaining rolling and manufacturing equipment including fork trucks, yard trucks and trailers, trouble shoot electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics, overhead cranes, conveyors, stackers, air compressors and maintenance records

· Assist in material handling and production including loading/unloading finished goods/raw materials and operating production equipment

· Math – compute ratio, rate & percent, accurately read tape measure and micrometer

· Write – clear work instructions

· Read – instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment

· Computer – data entry, word processing, spreadsheet applications

· Speak – clearly and distinctly

· Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance including truck and trailer inspections and repair, pneumatics and hydraulics, heavy machinery and mobile equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance

· Stick or MiG weld

· Use of cutting torch

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
