Assembly Support Technician

Responsibilities for Assembly Support Technician:

- Ensure all safety procedures are followed, and the proper PPE is in place.

- Assist in the disassembly and assembly of large complex machinery using a variety of hand tools, power tools, torches and grinders.

- Clean parts safely using degreasers and solvents.

- Aid in the inspection, organization, and storage of parts.

- Rig and move large parts safely using overhead cranes.

Qualifications for Assembly Support Technician:

- Must have knowledge in rigging and crane safety.

- Must have strong attention to detail.

- Must have experience with all hand tools including but not limited to grinders, drills,

files, and oxy-acetylene torches.

- Experience using hydraulic presses, hydraulic cylinders, bench grinders, and band saws is strongly recommended.

- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints is strongly recommended.

- Experience in welding is preferred.

- Experience using measuring tools including but not limited to tape measurers, scales, calipers, and micrometers is preferred.

- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.

- Must have a positive and professional attitude.

- Available to work weekends and overtime.

- Capable of standing, bending, and stretching for extended periods of time.

- Capable of regular lifting of 50lb
