Support Technician (Part-Time)

Location: Buckhannon, WV Pay: $19–$23 per hour (Based on Experience)

At World Kinect, we’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Support Technician to help maintain the image, safety, and functionality of our cardlock fueling sites. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems on the spot, and keeping things running smoothly, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our fueling sites clean, safe, and fully operational. Your responsibilities will include:

Site Maintenance & Appearance

- Perform general repairs and upkeep of buildings, dispensers, and POS systems

- Paint islands, canopy columns, and buildings as needed

- Touch-up snow removal during winter months

- Ensure signage and decals meet company standards

- Conduct and submit monthly site inspections

Customer & Equipment Support

- Assist guests with fueling issues and questions

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment like card readers and dispensers

- Identify, order, and install parts for repairs

- Maintain stock of consumables (paper towels, oil dry, windshield fluid)

Compliance & Safety

- Attend inspections and compliance testing

- Maintain knowledge of UST/AST regulations and obtain Class A/B or C UST Operator certification

- Keep records for permits, emergency plans, spill prevention, and stormwater management

- Obtain and maintain 24-hour HAZWOPER certification

- Monitor hazardous waste handling and contractor performance

What You Bring

- A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills

- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions

- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations (a plus)

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
