Role Description

This is a hybrid unpaid internship role for a Data Science Intern, based in Cambridge, MA, with opportunities for remote work. The intern will assist in gathering, cleaning, analyzing large datasets, applying Reinforcement Learning methods, and utilizing data science techniques to derive insights that inform decision-making. Responsibilities include data cleaning, data mining, data processing, and collaborating with founders and leadership team to R&D. This role offers valuable experiential learning opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge data science technology.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, Numpy, Pytorch, Matplotlib is absolutely required

- Solid foundation in Reinforcement Learning (non-negotiable)

- Strong knowledge of Reinforcement Learning methodologies are required (non-negotiable)

- Ability to work with large datasets and exploratory data analysis

- Strong self-direction, interpersonal communication, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

- Currently pursuing or recently completed an advanced degree in Data Science or Machine Learning
