Purpose:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for processing gas orders in a safe and efficient manner for timely delivery to our customers.

What you’ll do:

- Select appropriate cylinders and safely fill compressed gas according to company standards and ISO 9000 program

- Load and unload compressed gases cylinders varying in size from 3 – 1000lbs onto company and customer units using carts/dollies and forklifts to ensure cylinders are labelled accurately and meet company and government standards

- Quarantine non-conformance cylinders, open/close valves on cylinders and filling racks, and operate high-pressure pumps and vacuum pumps.

- Schedule deliveries (5 or 10 tons truck) of gas products and hardgoods to customers within the assigned geographical area based on the established delivery schedules

- Balance cylinder load sheets (shipment control), complete daily cylinder records (cycle counts) and complete shipping and receiving documents through the computer system (SAP)

- Shipping receiving duties as required

What it takes:

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Key Skills and Attributes:

- Ability to handle and lift up to 60 lbs.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
