We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Customer Support Specialistto join our in-office team in Warwick, RI. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer-first attitude. Experience in the
solar industryis highly preferred, but we welcome applicants with a passion for renewable energy who are eager to learn.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide accurate information about Rooftop Power’s solar products, services, and installation process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or escalations with empathy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with installation, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely updates and smooth customer experiences.
- Document all customer interactions and track issues in the CRM system.
- Educate customers on solar system monitoring, billing, warranties, and maintenance.
- Assist with scheduling service appointments and managing follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase customer satisfaction, and support company growth.
- 1–3 years of customer support or client services experience (solar industry preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, email, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and cross-departmentally.
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Previous experience in
solar, renewable energy, or home improvement industries
.
- Knowledge of solar installation processes, monitoring platforms, and utility billing.
