Velocity Roofing and Velocity Energy & Home Solutions are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and team-driven Customer Service Representative
to join our growing organization! This role goes
beyond traditional customer service— it’s an opportunity to play an active part in coordinating projects, collaborating with multiple departments, and ensuring each homeowner’s experience is seamless from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy managing multiple customer touchpoints while supporting our operations, project management, and field teams.
As our Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the
central point of contact for homeownersthroughout their roofing or energy project journey. You’ll help guide customers through applications, schedule inspections and services, manage communications, and collaborate across departments to ensure every project runs smoothly. Your ability to balance empathy, organization, and problem-solving will make you an essential member of our customer success team.
- Guide homeowners through the Green Grant application process
, ensuring all required information is gathered and submitted accurately.
- Track, confirm, and follow up on appointment dispositions
, documenting completed, rescheduled, or pending appointments and communicating updates to relevant departments.
- Collaborate closely with sales, project management, and installation teams
to ensure all project stages are aligned and progressing on schedule.
- Manage customer touchpoints
throughout key project milestones to ensure proactive communication, satisfaction, and transparency.
- Answer inbound calls, emails, and text messages
from homeowners with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Assist with scheduling and dispatching
inspection fixes, warranty visits, and additional service appointments as needed.
- Coordinate logistics for tree removals and other site preparations
related to roofing or energy projects.
- Open, manage, and close tickets
within the customer care pipeline, covering roofing, electrical, energy system services, and general inquiries.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date customer data
in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and HubSpot CRM.
- Assist with social media activity
, including posting updates, responding to messages, and highlighting completed projects.
- Generate daily and weekly reports
summarizing customer communications, appointments, and open project statuses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and basic familiarity with HubSpot CRM.
- Adobe knowledge (Photoshop, Acrobat, or Illustrator) suggested but not required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred — especially within the
construction, roofing, solar, or energy industries
.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, appointments, and communications simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM-based scheduling or project management tools is a plus.
