Job Title: General Clerk I (Customer Service Representative)
Modern Electric Water Company (Modern) is a customer owned, not-for profit corporation, engaged in providing high quality, economical electric and water utility services for the benefit of residents and businesses in the Spokane Valley.
Modern is searching to fill the position of General Clerk I. The General Clerk I is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent knowledge of company services and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department. Duties include answering customer inquiries, document management, accurately handling, processing, and posting customer payments, updating customer accounts and processing service orders to establish or discontinue utility service.
