For the past 80 years, Long Energy, a local family-owned business, has been delivering fuel and providing exceptional HVAC services to its customers in the Capital Region and surrounding areas. We are looking for a reliable Customer Service Representative who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a team in our service department out of our Schenectady office. The ideal candidate will enjoy a variety of tasks to include the following:
· Schedule appointments for service and create service work orders for customers.
· Address a high volume of customer service inquiries quickly and accurately, by telephone and email, while providing a high level of service and support to each customer.
· Document conversations with customers to track requests, problems, and solutions.
· Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
· Track and schedule follow-up service work needed.
· Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends during the winter season.
· Must be organized and able to carry out instructions.
· Must be detail oriented, and able to multi-task.
· Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain calm, friendly demeanor.
· Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed and continuous improvement.
· Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to participate in a team.
· Reliability is key for the success of this role.
· Experience in HVAC and/or fuel delivery industry is recommended.
