About the Role:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face and voice of MacFarlane Energy, interacting with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and promote service memberships. You will play a crucial role in fostering strong customer relationships, driving customer retention, and contributing to the overall success of our company.
- Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide information about our products and services, including heating fuel delivery, HVAC maintenance, and service memberships.
- Assist customers with account management, billing inquiries, and scheduling service appointments and fuel oil deliveries.
- Actively promote and sell service memberships to new and existing customers.
- Proactively reach out to customers to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the energy or HVAC industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and interact with customers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address customer needs.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or sales is a plus.
