PURPOSE OF POSITION
A Culture Development Specialist II plays a critical role in shaping, nurturing, and promoting a positive organizational culture and supporting talent acquisition efforts. This role will partner with HR and the leadership team to ensure the company’s mission, values and goals are reflected both in internal culture initiatives and through the recruitment of top talent. This person will help develop consistent messaging and training reflecting our culture and use this through internal and community communications. This position will also provide leadership for a function within the Culture Development team, training, communications or talent acquisition.

- Culture Development:
- Provide leadership and take ownership of specified area in the Culture Development Team.
- Design and implement cultural programs: Create and execute initiatives that foster positive, inclusive, engaging workplace culture, ensuring alignment with company values.
- Employee engagement: Measure employee engagement levels and gauge improvement based on activities through the organization.
- Promote organization values: Actively reinforce the company’s vales through everyday interactions, internal and external communications, and employee programs.
- Change management: Support the organization during periods of change, ensuring cultural continuity and promoting resilience within teams.
- Internal/Community Communications/Talent Acquisition/Training:
- Ensure all communications/training align with company goals and branding standards.
- Collaborate with all HR team members and other departments to enhance internal communication methods, tailoring messages to suit various channels and audiences.
- Partner with other departments to ensure cultural consistency across internal communications.
- Company outreach, promote the company through local media as well as educational institutions.
- Research and understand the needs of the organization and recommend training programs as well as facilitate programs that will improve skills and engagement.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field and;
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, Organizational Development, Recruitment, or Communications.
- Certifications in HR or organizational development (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar).
- Familiarity with Intranet Systems
- Driver License required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the ability to hear customers and the ability to hear instructions from others.
ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
- The noise level in the work environment is usually QUIET.
- Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs are required in production areas and where posted.
