JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a self-motivated sales/business development professional who wants to grow with our MGA, Monarch Sky MGA, Inc. and Insurance Carrier, NuSureCo Insurance Company, Inc. The position will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with insurance agency offices, brokers, aggregators, lenders, realtors, title companies and other target market professionals as we continue to expand our product offering. The ideal candidate must be professional, have a natural sales personality and be eager to create and maintain relationships.
- Build a strategic business plan, identifying target territories and verticals
- Generate new business through outbound sales activities, including cold calling and office visits, lunch and learns, etc.
- Utilize multiple communication channels such as telephone, email, and social media
- Participate within industry market organizations to network within their respective vertical
- Attend and represent the company at tradeshows, local functions, and outings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Maintain daily, weekly & monthly sales activity reports to discuss current & future sales opportunities & challenges
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of insurance sales experience
- Active General Lines and Surplus Lines Property & Casualty License required
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong independent and teamwork skills
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Ability to think outside the box and create strategies for prospecting new business
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good presentation skills
- Some travel is expected for tradeshows, networking events and business meetings
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines.
- All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
